What’s a “Cybertasting”?

It’s my quirky “mashup” word for a group wine tasting that you and I enjoy together – virtually – in cyberspace!

How does a “Cybertasting” work?

In a guided, online video webinar (you receive a link to join in), I taste three wines and describe, every step of the way, what I see, smell, and taste.

I’ll pull the corks on three wines, and you’ll taste the same wines along with me!

You, meanwhile, taste the same wines along with me.

With the special code I send you beforehand, you can buy the wines – often at a discount – in advance.

As you taste, you’ll form your own opinion of each wine.

I’ll even provide printable tasting sheets, so you can keep track of your favorites!

Delicious wine – great pairing – and proof that wines don’t have to be “fancy” – or pricey, to make your meals taste even better!

Sometimes I’ll welcome you into my home, for a “Cybertasting” at my dining room table (!) Other times we’ll enjoy the “Cybertasting” at a winery, restaurant, food-and-wine festival or other event, with chefs, winemakers, and other guests sharing their own wine-and-food ideas with you.

Oh, and did I mention the food? For each “Cybertasting,” I (and my special guests) will talk about our favorite food pairings for one or more of the wines that you taste with us. We’ll also give you an easy recipe that you can make yourself, try with the wine, and “tweak” to your own personal taste.

In my Cybertastings at home, I’ll cook up one of my own recipes to pair with one of the wines, take some photos, and walk you through the steps.

I’ll also explain why I chose the ingredients and cooking methods to make the wine pairing as tasty as possible.
